Sustainability isn’t just a marketing buzz word for the guys and girls at Tilia in Mendoza, Argentina. It’s everything they stand for…and it’s all over the front and back label of their wine! After all, they’re super proud to be able to tell us they were the first Argentine winery to carry the BDA (Bodegas de Argentina) Certified Sustainable seal printed on every back label.

Named after the Tilia tree you’ll find in the area. The leaves of the Tilia tree are used to make a calming and delicious tea – a great idea to help the afternoon siesta kick in!

Malbec is to Argentina (and Mendoza) what Sauvignon Blanc is to New Zealand (and Marlborough) – it’s just what they do best. So does this Malbec deliver? Does it what! For under $20 this is some seriously good value red.

And like all good Malbec this is the style of red that pairs perfectly with pretty much any slab of meat you can put in front of it – grilled sirloin steak, roast lamb, roast duck, spicy chorizo sausage and more.
