You’ve got to be good to reach the peak. And to put something under their Grand Reserve Peak label the guys at Sileni Estate in Hawke’s Bay use their best fruit from their best vineyards in the Bridge Pa District.
The warm temperatures and free draining red metal gravels are perfect for making top notch Hawke’s Bay Syrah.
A few years back this label reached the absolute peak – making the top 1% of over 17,000 wines at the Decanter World Wine Awards! The 2021 is now here, under a fancy slick new label, and it gets the thumbs up from us. Rich and dark berry fruit flavours with a touch of spice and soft, silky tannins. Yum.
