Sorry, this is completely sold out.

Known as the little brother to the legendary Bin 707 – which could cost you close to $1000 per bottle! The Penfolds Bin 407 is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and blended from multiple vineyards across multiple regions of South Australia.

Anyone that knows Penfolds Bins knows that Bin 407 is pretty much the first one to sell out every year. There’s a reason for that y’know!

96/100 (James Halliday’s Wine Companion)
“A multiregional wine matured in French (25% new) and American (12% new) oak for 12 months. It seems like cabernet sauvignon is uniformly very strong in this year’s Penfolds releases. Here, Bin 407 shines – crimson in the glass with plush, varietally true characters of blackberry, mulberries and cassis with hints of fine spice, scattered herbs, tobacco leaf, dark chocolate, cigar box, licorice, bay leaf and cedar. Concentrated yet balanced and poised with a fine tannin framework and bright, energetic line finishing with grace and a sense of latent power. One for the long haul and a strong release.”

94/100 (Huon Hooke, The Real Review)
“Deep bright purple-red colur with a similarly bright and lifted perfume of blueberry, violets and mulberry. It’s taut and firm, finely profiled and tensioned in the mouth, with ample tannins and a touch of chewiness. There is the typical Bin 407 well defined varietal fruit, a highly aromatic and gently leafy style. A classic cabernet. (Coonawarra, Wrattonbully, McLaren Vale, Padthaway, Barossa Valley, Adelaide Hills)”

With massive cellaring potential you can lay this one down in your cellar for another 25-30 years! Grab some while you can.
