Jasper Ridge Single Vineyard Syrah

Located at the eastern end of Waiheke Island Jasper Ridge are a seriously boutique producer of quality Syrah and Rosé. You geography nerds out there will be delighted to know the name comes from Jaspillite (aka Jasper) which is a semi precious stone created under pressure and over hundreds of millions of years formed by injected lava in greywacke sandstone, which can be found in the land around their site there on Waiheke.

This latest 2024 release of Jasper Ridge Single Vineyard Syrah has gone 5-Stars again with local critic Sam Kim’s review – Sam said “Excellent fruit purity and perfume… structured and harmonious with a persistent, refined finish.”
