Using fruit sourced from their Gimblett, Bridge Pa and spectacular Te Awanga vineyards right on the Hawke’s Bay coastline, using entirely hand picked fruit, aged 22 months in French oak. In their own words the Elephant crew call this “A refined & silky Hawke’s Bay Syrah from an exceptional vintage. .”

Drink it now or chuck it in your cellar and let it develop over the next ten years. If you’re in the Bay swing by this place (not long ago voted NZ’s top winery restaurant in Cuisine magazine) and grab a feed paired with these world class wines. They highly recommend a glass of this Syrah with Hereford fillet, artichoke, duck liver palate and truffle porcini crumb. Divine!
