Dog Point Pinot Noir is one of NZ’s premier Pinots from Marlborough and the wine is made by the very talented ex-Cloudy Bay duo James Healy and Ivan Sutherland. As wine writer Bob Campbell puts it “these boys really know their stuff“.
These guys are a class outfit. They make just four wines and year in, year out every vintage hits the mark. Probably best known for their Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, but their Pinot Noir takes on Marlborough’s best any day.
A single vineyard wine, hand picked fruit, aged for 18 months in French oak. An elegant Pinot full of red berries, cherries and spice. Year after year this is up there with our favourite Marlborough Pinots and undoubtedly gets a seat at the table for NZ’s top Pinot Noirs!
