When super talented winemaker Dave Clouston isn’t busting a gut crafted incredibly awesome wine (you might also know him from his Two Rivers wine labels) you might find him hanging out at his favourite pad – The Black Cottage! It’s where Dave kicks back and relaxes with friends and whanau. No doubt over a glass or two of Black Cottage Rosé.
Dave’s decided to add a bit of sparkle to his Black Cottage line-up. And when we say a bit, we mean ‘Frizzante’ (Italian for lightly sparkling). Yep Dave has added just a touch of effervescence to his bloody delicious, dry style Marlborough Rosé and popped a crown cap on top. Irresistibly packaged this is sure to be a huge hit!
A while back Dave spent a bit of time in Corsica, an island off the south-east coast of mainland France. He fell in love with the place – and the wine! He brought back a few handy tricks on crafting French style Rosé. We’re talkin’ fresh, crisp, dry and salmon pink in colour.
While you’ll enjoy busting Black Cottage Frizzante Lightly Sparkling Rose out of the fridge on pretty much any occasion (do you really need an excuse?) these are the styles of wine that are just asking to be enjoyed on a sweltering hot summer’s arvo on the deck with antipasto or light salads and lunches!
