Yealands are simply nuts about sustainability and because of this it’s echoed in absolutely everything they do. From allowing sheep to graze between the rows of vines, to using recycled glass and packaging in production. Heck, they even have NZ’s largest solar panels on the roof of Yealands HQ in Marlborough!
Their Single Vineyard range is exactly what it sounds like – from a single vineyard! That vineyard is their Seaview Vineyard which sits right on the coastline down there in Marlborough. That means these poor vines have to battle the elements to produce small berries with thick skins loaded with amazingly rich, intense flavours.
Those battle hardened little berries help the Yealands crew to produce this Gris that leans towards a more full bodied, rich style. Drink now to 2025 and if you’re looking for an ideal food match you can’t go past chicken, mushroom or creamy pasta dishes.
