If you’re new to Viognier (pronounced vee-on-yay) we couldn’t think of a better place to start. They’re not NZ’s most awarded wine label for no reason, and even their entry level Private Bin wines rarely go a vintage without picking up a gong or two.
Sourced from vineyards in Gizzy, The Bay and Marlborough (all have warm temperatures with high sunshine hours – the Viognier grape loves this!). A rich, dry white dripping with honeysuckle, apricot and spice flavours – mmm!
Matches well with chicken, pork, seafood dishes and spicy Asian cuisine. Enjoy it while it’s young.
