“Easily labelled, because the emblem for the Catalans is the mule, and old because the vines are old, but quite simply because the mule’s head looks great on the bottles!” – Jeff Carrel

Jeff’s approach to wine is simple – great tasting wines, original labels, affordable prices. A producer of wines mainly from the Languedoc in the south of France (home of the best value French wine) but also Bordeaux, Burgundy and Beaujolais.

The Vieille Mule is 100% medium bodied, rich and juicy Grenache from 30 year old vines in the Côtes Catalanes sub region of the Languedoc.

Jeff calls this one “Medium bodied and voluptuous” and reckons you’ll find flavours of cherry kirsch, wild herbs, liquorice and exotic spices. Gee ha!
