Think Clare Valley and the name Taylors will roll off the tongue. In fact think top Aussie red producers and the name Taylors will pop up. It’s why they’re a member of the Australia’s First Families of Wine, the 12 founding family owned wineries across the ditch, and why for as long as we can remember this has been one of the most reliable, bang for your buck labels.

It’s a style the winery waffles on to call “Rich expressive flavours of cassis, mulberry and a hint of eucalypt. French oak maturation adds touches of dark chocolate, cedar and spice.” We say if you love medium to full bodied Aussie reds full of rich flavours and a touch of spice, this is well worth a crack.

The winery also recommends food matching it with your Kangaroo meatballs – if you’re short on a pair of those we reckon a cut of good old Kiwi lamb or venison would do the trick!
