Yep, that’s right. Sunstones that used to form the river bed of an ancient river in Marlborough’s Wairau Valley are now used by the crew at Stoneleigh to radiate the daytime heat directly onto the vines, making them work hard to produce grapes full of crisp, vibrant flavour.
Year after year this label has proven to be a bit of a bargain buy and always well priced. This latest 2025 vintage has proven that yet again with TWO Gold medals at major competitions on the NZ wine show circuit -the National Wine Awards of Aotearoa 2025 and then again at the NZ International Wine Show 2025!
