Damn, this stunning Pinot deal is a sell out!

An absolutely jaw dropping Central Otago winery clearance deal is in the house!

A single vineyard, Reserve label, Central Otago Pinot Gris being sold elsewhere right now for $23 is now completely on the chopping blocks at an insane $10.99!

South River are the winery and their vineyard is located in Tarras, on the  banks of the Clutha River, next door to the famous Canyon vineyard. It’s crafted by one the region’s top winemakers, Anthony Wurch. He’s a Frenchman now settled in Otago and the man behind the award winning wines from Tarras The Canyon, Kuru Kuru and previously spent a bit of time with the crew at Peregrine. Not so long ago these guys provided fruit to the likes of Chard Farm, the winery that produce the massively popular Rabbit Ranch label.

With a new vintage waiting in the wings the bean counters have given them strict orders – flog it hard, flog it fast and turn it into cash! Plain and simple, that’s the reason for the hefty discount.

This is a super delicious dry style Central Otago Pinot Gris – light citrus fruit flavours with a dry finish. It’s super refreshing and the absolute ideal white to stockpile for the warmer months.

It also got a tidy 91/100 & Top Value award from Master of Wine Bob Campbell – who said “Richer, riper and weightier than the previous vintage (which was tasted alongside) with pear, apple and citrus flavours. A hint of sweetness is nicely restrained by fresh acidity to give a drying finish”

This is hands down a win-win deal for the Pinot Gris drinker (or anyone that loves a dry, refreshing style white) so grab more than you need and do it now. You’ll be seriously glad you did! Drink now to 2022.
