    Out of stock

Oh no! One of our favourite Spanish reds is out of stock from the importer. More stock on the water right now - due in September.

From the very heart of Spanish wine making country (La Mancha) and produced from the white grape variety that’s right at home in this part of the wine world, Macabeo!

A sturdy white skinned grape well suited to the harsh Mediterranean climate, Macabeo is also one the classic grapes used in Spanish Cava (sparkling wine).

The importer of this funky Spanish label is clearing space for container loads of new stuff on the way, so they’ve offered a pretty smart one-off clearance price on this label. So what on earth does it taste like we can hear you asking? Think of it as a light to medium bodied white, loaded with lively, fresh citrusy flavours and a dry finish. A great option for a baking hot summer’s day, but at this price does it really matter?

Real Compania de Vinos (the Royal Wine Company) – “ray-al comp-an-year de vee-nos“. Don’t worry if you don’t know how to pronounce it just chuck in the case or two in your cart now and enjoy!
