Named after a natural spring that pops up in their Rapaura vineyard there in Marlborough. They’re a name that’s been popping up on the radars of wine scribblers, judges, critics and (most importantly) wine lovers across the world.
They’re fast gaining a rep as one of Aotearoa’s top value wine producers. Don’t take our word for it, they’ve scooped “NZ Wine Producer of the Year” at the International Wine & Spirit Competition in London a couple of years back and they’ve stashed away Trophies from the Air NZ Wine Awards, Marlborough Wine Show and New World Wine Awards.
This is their 2019 release Pinot Gris and given their last four releases have gone Gold or 5 Stars we wouldn’t be surprised to see this one follow suit.
Described as being “luscious fruit flavours (think apples and pears) and a hint of spice makes for a delicious wine”. It sold us! All you need now is some roast pork and apple sauce! Or how about a creamy chicken carbonara? Yum!
Damn, you're looking young for your age!
