    Sit back, strap yourself in and get set to be blown away by this absolute Aussie blockbuster! This would have to be one of the best red wine deals we’ve seen so far this year, and we don’t throw that line out there lightly! It’s the kind of parcel we might see once or twice a year, so you’re in for a real treat here. Put it this way, the first case went into the boss’ car boot, the rest is up for grabs.

    China’s trade war with Aussie has left a number of Oz producers with excess stock on their hands and some seriously crazy deals on offer. After a few emails, a few phone calls, and a couple of samples (we had to make sure this was the real deal) a limited shipment has made its way to NZ and we’ve got the bulk of it!

    This is the nuts and bolts of it all…

    * RRP $40 Aussie Cabernet Shiraz slashed HALF price down to $19.99!
    * From one of McLaren Vale’s oldest producers
    * 5 Stars, 95/100 (Sam Kim)
    * Five years bottle aged under its belt already
    * A whopper in every sense, packing a punch at 14.8%!
    * An absolute tsunami of spicy dark berry fruit flavours

    * A stunning red to enjoy now, or cellar until 2030+
    * Extremely limited stocks for the NZ market – when it’s gone, it’s gone

    Pirra…pirri…mimimi…mimma. It’s “PIRRA-MEE-MA”. The name’s a mouthful and so’s the wine! Part of their “Vineyard Select” series with top parcels of fruit taken from four separate vineyards for the Cabernet and the four vineyards for the Shiraz.

    In his whopping 5 Star, 95/100 rating, critic Sam Kim said this “Seductively complex and fragrant, the bouquet shows dark fruit intensity with spicy oak, tobacco and game characters. The palate delivers excellent weight and richness, combined with velvety texture and fine tannins, finishing splendidly long and delicious. At its best: now to 2030.”

    This is the quintessential Aussie red blend of Cabernet and Shiraz. A full blooded style that doesn’t sit on the fence. It’s an absolute tsunami of big, rich, complex, spicy fruit flavours and the obvious class of a wine worth twice its price.

    This will not last so don’t muck about wondering whether you should try a few bottles first, it’ll be gone by the time you come back!
