This is their Saddleback Pinot Noir and hands down it’s been one of the most consistent value for money Central Pinots on the market for as long as we can remember!
Peregrine are big sponsors of the Wingspan Birds of Prey Trust. They take care of injured and orphaned birds of prey. The Saddleback (or Tieke) is a native New Zealand bird once thought to be extinct.
Being a bird that fed off the ground its numbers took a hammering no thanks to introduced predators like dirty old rats, cats and stoats.
Saddleback Pinot Noir is classic Central Pinot. We’re talkin’ luscious, silky dark fruits with soft, supple tannins. Lip smackingly delicious! Drink it over the next 3 years with lamb and game meat dishes for the ideal food match.
