It’s bloody hard to find much for your money at this kind of price point – but here’s a wine (made by Yalumba by the way) that regularly deliveries great bang for buck.

This latest 2025 vintage has done it again. A plush, rich, juicy and super satisfying South Australian Shiraz that over delivers and then some.

Scoring 90/100 with Sam Kim of The Wine Orbit, Sam said “It’s sweetly ripe and fragrant on the nose, with dark cherry, thyme, game, and mixed-spice notes. The palate delivers juicy fruit flavours, a silky texture, and fine-grained tannins, making it well-balanced with a lingering, tasty finish.”

As the crew at Oxford Landing put it “Take time to swirl this sexy Shiraz in the glass to really appreciate its rich, red scarlet hue. Breathe deep and experience plums plucked fresh off the tree, a touch of violet, red cherries, spice and a savoury aromatic edge.”
