OTU (pronounced o-two) is Otuwhero Estate and it’s named after the mighty Otuwhero River that runs through the lower valleys of Marlborough. This ancient river provides Otu with vineyards full of rich alluvial gravels and clay soils and along with its remote and rugged coastal setting it’s perfect for producing wines full of intense, ripe flavours!

Overseeing the OTU winery team is leading New Zealand female winemaker Anna Remond. Anna spent some 15 years with the world famous Oyster Bay winemaking team and has experience under her belt with vintages in Sancerre and Burgundy in France. Not only a bloody good winemaker, Anna is a mentor for NZ’s “Women in Wine Programme” supporting women to develop their careers in winemaking and reach their full potential.

A great value Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay offering heaps of peaches and cream, ripe stone fruit and citrus fruit flavours in a slightly buttery, creamy style. All OTU Wines are certified sustainable and vegan friendly.
