This is from a single vineyard situated in the Limestone Coast sub region of south Australia, planted in 1989 the vineyard has provided fruit for some famous brands over the past 30 years. These now mature, largely unirrigated vines are producing brilliantly ripe and concentrated wines.

With two 95 point reviews to its name it’s obvious what you’re getting here is worth plenty north of $20…

95/100 (Sam Kim)
“Upfront and enticing, the bouquet shows black and purple fruit intensity, vanilla, rich floral, star anise, and cedar characters. The palate displays excellent weight and succulent fruit flavours, beautifully complemented by fleshy texture and silky tannins, finishing wonderfully long and delectable. At its best: now to 2036.”

95/100 (Russ Gallagher, Vinomasters)
“Deep ruby with purple hues. Aromas of blackberry, plum and dark chocolate are complemented by notes of spice and subtle oak. The palate is medium to full-bodied, delivering fruit of blackberry, blueberry and plum supported by soft tannins. A touch of spice and savoury nuance builds through the mid-palate, finishing robust, rounded and satisfying. A full-flavoured Shiraz with balance and appeal.”

As for the winemaker (whose name we can’t reveal) he had this to say – “This Shiraz delivers bold dark-fruits along with rich red-berry concentrates. Touches of subtle oak and pepper complete the palate, supported by a fine tannin structure.”

A rich, generous, flavour-packed Shiraz that is gagging to be served with a big, juicy steak or beef ribs! Make no mistake this is a cracker for the money. Drink now or cellar for up to 10-12 years from vintage
