We don’t throw around the phrase “Deal of the Year” lightly – but this is seriously up there and just in time for summer! In fact it’s so damn hot (the deal, although summer’s looking good right?) we’ve had to keep the full details under wraps and pitch it as a Mystery deal to protect the brand and winemaker’s identity.
The true label is on the box and bottle and all is revealed when it lands on your doorstep. Let’s just say we’re fairly sure you’ll do a few things when you find out what it is and who made it…
1) Be blown away. Utterly blown away.
2) Bragging to your mates. “Far out I just scored a box of ********** Sauv for $13.99 from The Good Wine Co!”
3) Drink and re-order (if there’s any left)
A cancelled export order of this premium label Marlborough Sauvy means this $22 Sauv (at full price) is being slashed to an utterly insane $13.99. It was destined for one of the UK’s top brass fine wine merchants, whose name we also have to keep under wraps. Their loss – your massive, massive gain.
Using fruit from this producer’s Wairau and Awatere Valley vineyards, let’s just say this winemaker has become something of a superstar on the NZ wine scene and if you found out who it was you’d be loading up like there’s no tomorrow.
We just absolutely loved this style of Sauv, it’s perfect for the summer ahead. As one critic put it “This is fabulously expressed and delectable…punchy and refreshing… gorgeous fruit intensity together with bright acidity, leading to a persistent juicy finish. 5 Stars, 93/100” At its best now to 2019. It’s a cancelled export shipment so limited stocks available. Grab what you can…NOW!
