“Wine for good times” is what Misty Cove’s all about – in the company of good friends, family and maybe the odd stranger. A no-borgeous BS approach to wine. Launched in 2008 the Misty Cove wine brand has tried to flip the script on what a wine brand can look like, while crafted seriously good value, award winning Marlborough wines – and keeping it fresh by experimenting with unusual varieties and unique blends.
In fact they often prefer to let the awards do the talking and this Misty Cove Pinot Gris has won a fair few gongs over the years. This latest ’24 release has a 5 Star and 94/100 review from local critic Sam Kim who said “The palate delivers fine focus and fleshy texture, wonderfully framed by juicy acidity, finishing long and tasty.”
This is a Marlborough Pinot Gris made in a typical off-dry style with citrus and pear fruit flavours with a dry finish. An easy going style that’s packing a heap of deliciousness.
