La Belle Angele Rose

“My name is Belle Angele and I come from France. I am the muse for many early 20th century painters and artists.”

She was carefree and adventurous, she had elegance and charisma and a touch of mischievousness! A little bit of what the French call ‘joie de vivre’ – the art of living.

With labels designed celebrating those roaring 20s in mind and art deco style labels the Belle Angele range is all about full bodied reds with delicious fruit flavours, delectable whites and a fresh, fruity Rosé.

This is the 2023 vintage Rosé and it’s a great, entry level, dry style from the Languedoc region in southern France. It’s all light, juicy summer fruit flavours with a crisp, dry finish.

Scoring 95/100 and a Gold medal at the New World Wine Awards 2024, the judges said “From the Languedoc-Rousillon region in France, this elegant and fruity Rosé is made from Grenache and Cinsaut grapes. It’s delicately aromatic on the nose with white florals, crunchy apple, lemon zest and spice notes. The palate is vibrant and long with an ethereal lightness that is simply magic.”
