There sure is plenty of Gold in these hills – Kirrihill’s that is. To be more precise the foothills at the north eastern end of the Clare Valley in South Australia.

They’ve been winning Gold under this label, produced from grapes sourced entirely from specially selected vineyards, since the late 90s. The Partner Series is named after the partners of the company – so it’s got to be flash stuff to have their names on it!

Outstanding quality fruit, top vineyards, aged 10 months in selected new and seasoned French and American oak and a super talented winemaker (Andrew Locke – an ex-Rosemount estate winemaker). This is the follow up vintage to the ’19 that took out Two Trophies and Five Golds including Best Shiraz at the Great Australian Shiraz Challenge,

We reckon the dark, inky purple colour coming out of this one would ruin any carpet forever but boy it’d be worth it, this is some seriously wow-factor Shiraz and a must try for the hardcore lovers of a big, dense and rich style Aussie red.

Ready to go now or will sit nicely in the cellar comfortably for a decade or more.
