Using fruit from the Bendigo Terrace vineyard in Central Otago. This is a truly awesome, dry style Riesling well worth the price tag of $27 per bottle. It was put in front of local critic Sam Kim  at the end of 2019 and came up with seriously high praise…

Kalex are a premium Central Otago producer founded by Alex Kaufman, a Polish American businessman, entrepreneur and holocaust survivor. He arrived in the US with nothing but the clothes on his back and a quarter in his shoe. His later success in business and love for wine lead him to NZ and specifically Central Otago, where he started the Kalex label.
