Delta Hatters Hill Sauvignon Blanc

Wow, as far as debut performances go this is right up there! The first ever release of a Sauvignon Blanc under Delta’s Hatters Hill label has taken out Trophy for Champion Sauvignon Blanc at the Air NZ Wine Awards, pretty much one of the hottest accolades for a Sauvy on the wine show circuit!

The Delta Wine Co is the work of superstar winemaker Matt Thomson (you might know him as the winemaker from Saint Clair) and two of his mates. They named this label after Tom Hatter, an eccentric, colourful character who lived in Marlborough in the early 1900’s.

A single vineyard wine from the Dillons Point sub-region of Marlborough’s Wairau Valley. A full bodied Sauv with plenty of weight and texture – a step up in class from your everyday Marlborough Sauvignon that’s for sure.
