Zut Alors! An iconic French producer (now owned by mega rich Champagne giant Louis Roederer), such good value every vintage and a smokin’ hot price. It’s ticking all the boxes especially the one that says if you’re a lover of spicy, heart-warming reds you ought to be slipping a dozen of these into your cart now!

From the world famous hot plains of the Rhone Valley in Southern France this traditional Cotes-du-Rhone blend is made up of Syrah (90%) and Grenache (10%) – it’s gloriously drinkable, spicy, heart warming medium to full bodied red at its best.

Robert Parker, one of the world’s top wine writers, reckons these guys are producing some absolute A-grade Rhone reds now that they’re owned by French Champagne giants Louis Roederer, saying “This outstanding firm has done a top rank job under the ownership…they continue to upgrade their southern Rhone selections.”

We couldn’t agree more, for the money it’s always such a total bargain. Food match with game meats or a hearty French Ratatouille!
