You might know Coopers Creek as the winery based out in Auckland’s western suburb of Kumeu. But they actually have vineyards dotted all around NZ and their “SV” (it stands for Select Vineyard) range showcases grape varieties from the parts of NZ they grow best.

Their “SV” Razorback Pinot comes from a single vineyard site in the best region this hot little grape grows in – Central Otago.

They named it Razorback after the steep-sided, rugged land dotted throughout this part of the country. Although we reckon this kind of full bodied Pinot would be just the ticket for a wine match with the wild pig with the same name!

    The Lowdown: 13.5% alc / 750ml / Screwcap
