Tim Turvey is the main man at Hawke’s Bay’s Clearview Estate and he’s bonkers about Chardonnay. Nobody has a love affair with Chardonnay quite like Tim. With legendary wines in his Chardonnay line-up like his world famous Reserve label, listed as in Michael Cooper’s prestigious “Super Classics” list, it’s fair to say he doesn’t just love the style, he knows it inside out!
Due to popular demand from the Clearview hardcore (and probably just because he likes drinking them himself) Tim’s takin’ it back to the old school and back to the 80s with his White Caps release. He’s taking it back to the style he first started with over 25 years ago – big fat, rich, buttery styles overloaded with vanillery tropical fruit flavours! “Bigger is better!” says Tim.
