What was previously being sold as a Mystery Deal has now been revealed! The winery (which we can now tell you is Otu based in Marlborough) has now decided to delete this label for good meaning the need to keep the brand a secret is no longer needed.

Woop woop! A huge $9.99 deal has landed into our warehouse – this is officially your Pinot Gris quaffer for the rest of 2025 and summer of 2026!

We’ve been approached by a Marlborough producer (we can now tell you it’s Otu!) to help clear stocks of their award winning 2023 vintage Pinot Gris.

We scoped out the savings before we landed this deal. On special in supermarkets over the past while it’s been $13-15 per bottle with the full price sitting between $17-20.

The wine scored 89/100 and a Top Value Award with Master of Wine Bob Campbell who said “good purity and energy with pear, nectarine and subtle green apple flavours. Tangy, mouth-watering wine in an off-dry style. $17.00”

Meanwhile critic Sam Kim gave it 90/100 and said “It’s elegantly lifted on the nose with ripe pear, apricot, Gala apple, and subtle spice aromas. The juicy palate offers a beautifully rounded mouthfeel and silky texture, well-framed by fine acidity, finishing refreshing and lingering. At its best: now to 2026. $20.00”
