Two Rivers Convergence Sauvignon Blanc

Two Rivers, one man and a heap of awards over the years. This is Two Rivers Convergence Sauvignon Blanc 2023 vintage and it’s made by superstar winemaker Dave Clouston. Dave grew up on the banks of the Awatere and Wairau Rivers, thus the name Two Rivers. He’s labelled this one “Convergence” as the grapes are sourced from four seperate vineyards on the banks of the Wairau and Awatere Rivers – each bringing something different to help create this classy, elegant drop.

Since ’08 Two Rivers Convergence Sauvignon Blanc’s won a cabinet full of Trophies, Golds and 5 Star reviews for his awfully classy Convergence Sauvignon Blanc label. We’d be here all day listing ’em but it has won No.1 Sauvy in both Winestate magazine and Cuisine magazine a few years back as some of the highlights.

This latest 2025 vintage is yet another beauty. Another swag of 5-Star reviews and was selected as Wine of the Week on Jack Tame’s show on Newstalk ZB with Cam Douglas Master Sommelier calling it “Pungent, ripe, varietal and high energy…A high energy wine best enjoyed from day of purchase through 2029. Exceptional value.”
