Named Thorn Clarke after the owners David Clarke and Cheryl Thorn. They’re now both married (to each other) but what’s with the Sandpiper?

It’s actually northing to do with Cheryl or a food match, the Sandpiper is a migratory bird that visits the winery. Yes, that does beg another question!

We do know one thing though – this fine specimen sure has seen enough medals in its time to justify why lovers of Barossa Shiraz flock to it every year. Medium to full bodied with rich, ripe berry fruit flavours – it’s a must for all bird lovers.
