The Unexpected Organic Garnacha from Aragon is the latest Spanish import of NZ Master of Wine Steve Bennett who’s made a career out of finding little gems like this from all four corners of the wine world. The Unexpected label is the project of the Ramón Reula family which started back in the 1980s and the reunification of properties that once belonged to the so-called Finca Aylés dating back to the Middle Ages.
A certified organic Spanish Garnacha that’s quite powerful in style with rich, dark berry fruit flavours and silky soft tannins.
