Hold on to your hats ‘cos this incredible Pinot deal might just blow it right off! What was a $30+ Pinot Noir of real class has been slashed down to an unbelievable $19.99!
Made by Greystone in the Waipara, North Canterbury region, one sip and you’ll see this is a Pinot of obvious quality and complexity that you wouldn’t normally dream of picking up for twenty bucks and has the thumbs up from local Master of Wine Bob Campbell in The Real Review.
Scoring 91/100, Bob called this “Supple, savoury pinot noir with dried herb, floral, violet, spice, cherry and raspberry flavours. An appealing wine in a medium-bodied style, with a backbone of bright acidity. Ready to drink.”
This has had the treatment of a Pinot worth heaps more, clearly. We’re talking fermented in small batch lots with wild yeasts, hand plunged daily for a month, aged 10 months in French oak. It’s classy stuff.
Of course we’ve tried this one….several times, y’know just to be sure! We absolutely love it. With a few years bottle age under its belt already it’s drinking superbly right now but could easily cellar up until 2024. Grab a case now, you’ll be seriously glad you did.
Damn, you're looking young for your age!
