Summer’s on the way. Longer days are here. Snags on the barbie. It’s nearly safe to bust out the shorts again. It’s also time to take serious stock of your summer Rosé supplies – and boy have we just landed one to hook into big time!
One of Martinborough’s pioneer producers (Nga Waka), their premium label Rosé made from their prized Pinot Noir grapes, awarded a huge, HUGE 95/100 by Master of Wine Bob Campbell. But wait, there’s more!
Less actually. You’d be paying around $25 at cellar door for this one. Around the $20 mark with some other retailers. But in exchange for landing a bit of volume we’ve secured this absolutely gorgeous, premium Rosé for a jaw dropping $14.99!
Scoring 95/100 from Bob puts Nga Waka’s 2018 Rosé alongside his joint top ranked Rosé from this vintage – stunning! Bob said “Made from 100% pinot noir, this delicious, delicately succulent wine tastes of crushed strawberries with a hint of watermelon. A suggestion of sweetness is perfectly balanced by fruity acidity to give a drying finish. A silken-textured wine with a lingering finish.”
You will happily sip this one back right throughout the 2019/20 summer and right up until 2021, so no rush. Seriously don’t muck about. Buy a case or two now – this is a steal.
