Mt Monster Cabernet Sauvignon

A Monster mouthful right here! Mt Monster is the name of a unique, rocky granite in the Mount Monster Conservation Park – make the 100m hike to the top and you’ll enjoy spectacular panoramic views of south Australia’s Padthaway sub region.

Padthaway, some 300km south of Adelaide, neighbours the world famous Coonawarra region and shares some similarities with plenty of unique, red rich terra rossa soil.

The Mt Monster label is owned by the Bryson family who are a six generation farming family in the region. In fact, their family owned vineyard in Padthaway is planted on some of the world’s oldest mineral rich soils. And that’s a massive helping hand to produce excellent fruit quality from low yielding vines.

This is their 2022 vintage Mt Monster Cabernet Sauvignon – produced from their family owned, single vineyard in the Limestone Coast. This is what the Bryson crew had to say about this latest release – “Deep purple in colour. Classic aromas of lifted blackcurrant, blackberry and mint on the nose. Flavours follow through of sweet berry-fruit accented by fresh muddled mint. Elegant, structured palate with big
velvety tannins.”
