Mount Vernon Pinot Noir, it’s made by Lawsons Dry Hills don’t you know?

They call Mount Vernon their little baby – but it’s anything but little. It’s huge! 442 metres huge to be precise. Mount Vernon is one of mountain peaks that towers above Marlborough and the peak that sits right behind the Lawsons Dry Hills winery.

This parcel of highly drinkable Marlborough Pinot was destined for offshore markets – but now being sold at a seriously rock bottom price here in NZ. Using fruit from their Southern Valley and Awatere Valley vineyards, this is a fruit driven, juicy, soft style Pinot that’s bright and full of strawberry and raspberry fruit flavours.

In fact it’s not too disimilar to Lawson’s Dry Hills Pinot which would cost you upwards of $20, making this deal even more jaw dropping!

Drink now to 2021 and food match it with a whole range of different feeds. Cold cuts like salami, ham, pork or how about a Sunday roast chicken? Yum.

    The Lowdown: 13% alc / 750ml / Screwcap
