From the Marnier Lapostolle family. Yes, Marnier! As in Grand Marnier! The same French family that produces the world famous liqueur also dabbles in world class wine.

From wine making in the Loire Valley to wine making in Central Valley, Chile – and the French connection doesn’t stop there. The grape Carmenere (car-men-yare) is actually a variety that originated in France and found its way to Chile, where it’s fair to say has become the best place in the world to grow it.

Carmenere loves Chile and we love Carmenere. Spicy, savoury, medium bodied red that is just truly delicious. If you’re new to this grape variety, give it a whirl!

The Lapostolle’s are also hell bent on being as eco friendly as possible. As well as being CarbonNeutral certified, their vineyards are 100% organically certified and entirely biodynamically managed. Even the bottles are 14% lighter than normal, produced from 30-60% recycled glass. Nice one.

    The Lowdown: 13.5% alc / 750ml / Screwcap
