“Fickle and demanding, this little number is a piece of work, but it has turned into a dangerously good wine. It’s not a big bolshy red…Marlborough Pinot Noir is about sexiness.” – Jules Taylor.

Pinot Noir is a labour of love for Jules and her team. Sure, it’s the Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc everyone knows her best for, but their persistence and hard work with what can be a fussy little grape at the best of times has paid off over the years. Jules describes her Pinot as being all about “Bright fruit, soft tannins, a touch of elegant earthiness and oak.”

Using fruit from the clay soil, hillside vineyards of Marlborough’s Southern Valleys sub region. Jules likes her Jules Taylor Pinot Noir to be perfumed rather than a fruit-bomb style – and it’s fair to say she’s nailed it!

This is the latest 2024 Jules Taylor Pinot Noir that took out a Gold medal at the NZ International Wine Show, NZ’s largest international wine competition.

If you’re looking for the ideal food match to a glass of Jules Taylor Pinot Noir you can’t go wrong with the classic cut of quality Kiwi Lamb or how about pulled pork sliders with kimchi and slaw?
