From 19th century bear trainers to 21st century winemakers – trying something new doesn’t phase this family! Branching out and being different is what lead the Artaud family to be the first to plant white wine grapes in the Tariquet vineyards back in the 80s.

Located in the south-west of France in a region called Gascony, it’s an area that you’ll also find some kick ass Armagnacs (flash brandy!).

A delicate, lightly oaked style Chardonnay aged in French oak (funny that) – a good place to start if you’re new to Chardys from this part of the world. Serve lightly chilled with fish, seafood or other white meats.

    The Lowdown: 12% alc / 750ml / Screwcap
