Craggy Range Aroha (the Māori word for “love”) and there’s a whole heap of love that goes into producing this world class Martinborough Pinot Noir. With a glowing international reputation and a history of critic scores that leaves jaws dropped this is quite simply a must-have for any keen collector. That’s if you can lay your mits on a bottle, global demand massively outstrips supply every release!
This is a very limited release 2024 Craggy Range Aroha direct from Craggy HQ. It’s produced from two clones of Pinot Noir, one being the Abel clone, from their Te Muna Road vineyard. It’s aged 14 months in 31% expensive new oak barrels.
97/100 & Top Rank Award (Stephen Wong MW, The Real Review)
“Very long with a melting mouthfeel and great intensity, this impressive, modern expression of pinot noir is going to go the distance, richly rewarding those with the willpower to wait. Grand vin.”
95/100 (James Suckling)
“A pinot noir with a backbone of fine tannins that give it freshness and form. It’s medium-bodied with dried strawberry and raspberry and orange undertones. Firm and silky texture with a tight finish.”
96/100 (Cam Douglas MS)
“A delicious wine with a heart of fruit purity and a sense of regionality then site. An enticing bouquet of dark berries and wild flowers, purple berries then spices of earth and oak. Complex and intriguing”
97/100 (Andrew Caillard MW)
“Superb fragrance, fruit definition and oak integration, while showing lovely gentle vigour and impact.”
A world class Pinot and certainly up there with the best of NZ. Treat yo’self or the Pinot lover – that’s if you can get any before it sells out!
