A big, rich and mouth filled Spanish fruit monster that looks more like a prisoner on the run!

A blend of three grapes – Monastrell (40%), Tempranillo (30%), Syrah (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). The Monastrell gives the wine a solid whack of powerful black fruit, the Syrah balances it with juicy, spicy characters. She’s all held together with a solid Cabernet backbone and the silky smooth touch of Tempranillo

Kiwi wine scribbler Joelle Thomson gave this the thumbs up in a 2015 tasting, picking it as one of her “Best Buys”, she called it “Classic good value for money from Spain; a soft, fruity and approachable style.”

A Mediterranean wine that’ll suit full flavoured Mediterranean dishes – throw on your matador costume and tame this beast with barbecued red meat dishes or flautas, fajitas, tacos and paellas! Arriba!
