The team at Brown Brothers are an innovative bunch – they just love tinkering with varieties and trying new things. Their Brown Brothers Dolcetto & Syrah is super fruity, super juicy and full of ripe raspberry flavours with a slight sparkly finish.
Dolcetto (literally means ‘the sweet one’) is an Italian grape variety that is vibrant and full of fruit flavour and (like many Italian women) is enjoyed best in its younger years. It’s also a bit lower in alcohol at just 10%.
Together with one of the oldest grape varieties, Shiraz, this makes a great summer wine that is best served chilled. Easy to drink without food but will go great with spicy curries, sweet desserts and cheeses. If you’re new to wine or trying to convert someone from drinking sugary, alco-pop drinks this is a good stepping stone to wine!
