This is P for Patutahi, a vineyard in Gisborne where this used to be made. These days Brancott have taken their Letter Series down the line to Marlborough but they’ve kept the "P" for nostalgic reasons (plus they probably couldn’t find a vineyard beginning with the letter "P").
This label has always been right up there among the best NZ Gewurztraminer labels and the last vintage took out top spot in Cuisine magazine as just a little reminder what a classy wine it is.
We just absolutely love this style of wine – a must have with spicy Asian cuisine like Thai or Indian. Or if you’re a bit of a Master Chef wannabe why not pair this with Sashimi and pickled ginger?
