Villa Maria Reserve Hawke’s Bay Chardonnay is undoubtedly up there with Aotearoa’s finest Chardonnay producers, if not the best. If you disagree their trophy cabinet (being NZ’s most awarded winery it must be more like a large shed by now) has a thing or two to say about that.
Their Reserve label range simply doesn’t go a vintage without collecting a Gold or three along the way. This is their 2022 vintage and wouldn’t ya know it, Gold again!

For this 2022 vintage 70% of the Chardonnay comes from their world class, iconic Keltern vineyard, 20% from the Te Awa vineyard, aged in 40% expensive new French oak and barrel aged for 14 months. It gets all the tender, love and care you’d expect for a label their stake their name on!
