Here’s a little something you might not know. Martinborough is named after an Irish immigrant called John Martin. John purchased a sheep station in the Wairarapa region in 1879 and on that land that he once owned is the vineyard of Te Kairanga – we call ’em TK for short.
This is their TK Te Kairanga Estate Sauvignon Blanc and while Marlborough usually takes the headlines here and internationally when it comes to New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc – it’s Martinborough that’s taken centre stage with this stunning 2025 release winning Trophy for Champion Sauvignon Blanc at the NZ International Wine Show 2025!
The judges said “Aromas of tropical fruits combined with fragrant fresh herbs and minerality. These characters translate to the palate with additional notes of blackcurrant and tomato leaf. Partial barrel fermentation adds wonderful texture – layers of flavour, with a lingering finish.”
A classy Sauvignon showcasing how damn good Martinborough Sauvy can be! Drink now to two years from vintage.

Damn, you're looking young for your age!
