Church Road Syrah

Syrah is fast becoming the star of the Hawke’s Bay wine scene and Church Road are absolutely nailing it yet again with their 2016 release.

You might remember the last vintage took out the “Red Wine Buy of the Year” in Michael Cooper’s Wine Buyers Guide for 2017 – other Syrah producers in the region must be seriously scratching their heads wondering how they do it at such a keen price! Well the ’16 has made an appearance in Cuisine magazine’s 2018 Syrah tasting, scored 4 Stars & Best Buy!

A silky, supple red with a touch of spice that will leave you grabbing a second glass in a flash! This is the style of red to be pairing with cuts of good old Kiwi lamb and game meats like duck and venison.
