Jip Jip Rocks Sparkling Shiraz

The Jip Jip Rocks label is owned by the Bryson family who are a six generation farming family in the region. In fact, their family owned vineyard in Padthaway is planted on some of the world’s oldest mineral rich soils – the Jip Jip Rocks gets is name after a 350-million-year-old pink-red granite rock formation located near the vineyard.

Those old, mineral rich soils are a massive helping hand to produce excellent fruit quality from low yielding vines.

The Jip Jip Rocks Sparkling Shiraz is a blend of 2-3 year Shiraz, matured in French oak, then blended with a younger vintage Shiraz and is all juicy, dark berry fruit flavours, soft and creamy bubbles with a cherry chocolate, slightly spicy finish. Yum!

When it comes to the best food match for Sparkling Shiraz – think glazed ham, barbecued meats, and roast duck. The wine’s fizz and acidity cut through rich fats, while its dark fruit flavors match bold spices.
