Cloudy Bay have released a very limited number of 1.5 Litre magnums of Chardonnay from their 2011 vintage. Already aged for five years before release these are drinking superbly right now. Want to carry on the cellaring? No sweat, the guys at Cloudy Bay recommend at least ten years cellaring, so they’ve still got a good four or five years to go!
This is a wicked deal for top class, aged Chardonnay in a large format bottle (you can usually expect to fork out much more for a magnum given the production costs).
