Another seriously good Caravan Durif (aka Petit Sirah) release! Made by the king of value for money reds (John Quarisa aka Johnny Q aka the man behind blockbuster labels like Shot in the Dark and 30 Mile!) this is a FOUR Gold medal winning, incredibly delicious Aussie red for around the $15 mark!

This is Caravan Durif (aka Petite Sirah), and if you haven’t the foggiest about Petit Sirah or Durif don’t sweat it. Just know this is a full bodied, flavoured packed red packing a punch! If you love Shiraz or Syrah you’ll fall in love with this style.

Durif aka Petit Sirah is a style that’s on the rise big time. In fact there’s even a hardcore following of Petite Sirah slurpers that have set up their own advocacy group  called “PS – I Love You”.

Caravan is absolutely packed to the rafters with rich, dark berry fruit flavours, a dark inky colour with a touch of spice in there too. As like previous vintages it’s already reigning in the gongs…
